About the Author
Adele Nozedar has long been fascinated by the power of symbols and visual signs, which led her to the formal study of alchemy. Her interest in psychology and how the unconscious mind works led her to the study of ancient myths, art, film and the esoteric in all forms. (She was also born into a long line of psychics.) Adele's other passion is music -- she is founder and owner of a music studio in the Brecon Beacons, Twin Peaks, and formerly was one of the few women in the music industry to run a record label.

Secret Symbols
A good reference book and an interesting read, I can see myself going back to this book for many years to come.
great with a coffee and biscuit
If i had to take 10 books to the next life, alas, this would not be one. Having said that it contains lots of info and intresting facts on a miriad of areas from flowers to tarot, the information is spot on and i would trust the info it contains. If your looking for a broad over view or are just starting out on your research this would be a good book for you, if your a bit further down the road than that there is not enough info and little or no advice on how to use any of them.
all in all a good item for the book case but not one i would get out every time i put the kettle on.
Another wonderful Elements Book
This is a smasher! After 5000 spells The Element Encyclopaedia of 5000 Spells: The Ultimate Reference Book for the Magical Arts the Elements Encyclopaedia collection went down hill in my opinion. This book however is great. Filled with loads of interesting facts and some lovely personal moments shared by the author. As with the reviewer above I too have gone back to this book many time and will for years to come. this is a must have for any practitioner as it has a lot to teach. ....Jen x
