Twin Gear with its powerful triturating action, cuts and juices all vegetables including carrots, celery, leafy vegetables and wheat grass.

The unique twin gear unit features a pocket-recessed area to more easily accept fibrous vegetables and herbs, 3 separate points that cut strong fibres like celery so the appliance does not get jammed or clogged, and the extremely close clearance of the twin gears at 4/1000 of and inch. These features combine to more easily, thoroughly and gently extract more juice, more quickly, leaving the ejected pulp drier.

At only 110 revolutions per minute, minimal heat build up develops in the juice and therefore initial oxidation is delayed allowing more leisurely consumption while getting full nutritional benefits. A recent independent comparative study on how 5 different juicers effect juice stability showed that apples at 59.9oF juiced in a Green Power only increased in temperature a bit over 1/2 of 1 degree to 60.44oF. The other 4 juicers ranged from almost 3 1/2 degrees to over 14oF higher than the original temperature of the fruit.

as good as it gets
Having been a fresh juice enthusiast for many years I have tried several juicing machines over that time,starting with the cheapest centrifugal models and upgrading a little each time eventually arriving at the Green Star.Well this really is the end of the road for the search for the perfect juicer.For ease of use,build quality,quick cleaning,versatility and of course the juice produced it is simply the best i've had the pleasure to use.I have used my machine every day for the last 3years without any problems at all making not only juice but raw ice-cream,fantastic nut butters,cake fillings...once you get started the possibilities are virtually endless.The one minus point for some may be the price but you get a lot of juicer for your money.If you're just looking for the occasional glass of carrot juice then a much cheaper juicer would do you fine but if you're serious about your juice and your health the Green Star is as good as it gets.
