Manufacturer's Description

Head back to the streets of Sin City in an explosive, all-new adventure. Team Rainbow is back and it's your last chance to put an end to the deadly terrorist threat in Las Vegas.

The Rainbow Six Vegas 2 story runs in parallel to R6-Vegas. You are Bishop, one of Rainbow's top commanders, working with Logan Keller. You must lead your team into the unknown to end the terrorist threat led by Alvarez Cabrero and close the book on Vegas terrorist threat once for all.

Customer Reviews

Fun enough, but very repetitive3
This game is enjoyable enough, but it lacks variety. The game really only consists of clearing one room after another of bad guys - it gets marginally more interesting when you're on your own, but compared to other shooters like Call of Duty 4 or Medal of Honor it's vastly inferior. The story line is uninvolving, and the dialogue unclear and hard to understand.

Best selling title? why?2
Starting off on the single player aspect of this game, i was reasonably impressed... the gameplay was fun, made even better by the awesome ability to customize to extreme levels.
Being able to choose between armour effects your mobility and toughness, each important aspects for how you like to play. This gives you added flexibility and control. Improved even more by the co-op play, this gives good re-play.
However, upon playing the multiplayer, i was truly shocked. After being introduced to online play on the likes of Warkawk and COD4, the variety of gameplay in the online mode was terrible, and the graphics even worse. This game offered easily the worst graphics i have ever seen on a PS3, reminiscent of top of the range PS1 games, or poor PS2 games.
I suggest renting this game, or waiting until it comes down in price further...
If you have money to spend on a game that you want to have continous play-time, re-play ability, brilliant online play...choose COD4 over this game any day...

vegas 2 more of the same1
ive played the first and now second installments to the RSV series and both are imressive, tactical andgood looking games.

however the new RSV2 game is pretty much the same as RSV1. the graphics are the same, the gameply is the same, etc. this is not such a bad thing as when RSV1 came out it was the best first person shooter on next gen consoles. but when youve played games like COD4 already out and with RSV2 almost identical abitities to shoot through walls or to sprint, RSV2 just looks a little tired when compared to the ( in my opinion the better ) COD4 game.

the online multi player mode is very good. it is a vast proggresion of vegas 2 with true "jump-in" two-player co-op. plus extra terrorist hunt missions, 13 new maps and 2 new game types, will have you coming back for more. but it just isnt as addictive as COD4, and has less features.

if you played the first vegas gamme chances are whenn you play this one itll be a major case of dejavu and will feel exactly the same, and when compared to COD4 its just not up to par.
