Intertwined: The Art of Hadnspun Yarn, Modern Patterns and Creative Spinning (Handspun Revolution)3
Fantastic artwork which is quite inspiring on its own. The techniques are quite well explained, though at times it does seem you need three pairs of hands! Not sure about all of the fibres suggested - wire and audio cassette tape is a bit far out and I can't see I would ever need a yarn made of that! But there was still plenty to encourage you to have a go at something other than 2ply. I personally intend to try and replicate some of my favorite yarns using this book to show me how to incorporate all the fibres required. What would be handy is a follow up book with more patterns.

Intertwined: The Art of Handspun Yarn, Modern Patterns and Creative Spinning (Handspun Revolution)

The yarns in this book are so scrumptious it's like the all you can eat yarn buffet. It's the yarn book for artists, encouraging artistic expression through it's use of varied fibres & notions that are creatively spun into the yarns. There are instructions for making yarns. You want to start spinning right away ( and I haven't even learn't how to spin yet!) coz the yarns are so colourful they jump right off the page & along with the patterns they are of a I just have to have it NOW! quality. Beautifully photographed, a lovely outer edge bound in pink material makes the book look classy making it a lovely quality present. It's a fantastic book one of my favourites!.

Exciting, Inspirational, Beautiful!5
I bought this book after spending hours on the internet drooling over 'art yarns' I saw on blogs and on Etsy...
'Intertwined' gives you eye-candy page after page of beautiful revolutionary yarn acommpanied by detailed 'recipes' on how to make them for yourself.
Even if you don't follow Lexi's instructions, this book is a must have just for the photography and colours!
Also- its a lovely chunky book, one that you will get out time and time again to flick through for inspiration.
It is one of my favourties!!
