Synopsis
The life of a dysfunctional English family provides the basis for this hit show from BBC America. Housewife Alison (Amanda Redman) is a lottery winner who keeps her cash prize a closely guarded secret for fear that it will corrupt her family. Meanwhile, her husband (Peter Davidson) is embroiled in an affair, her eldest daughter disrupts the suburban idyll by becoming a lesbian, and her other daughter gets pregnant. It all adds up to a humorous poke at British life, illustrating that everything is not always as rosy as it seems behind the twitching suburban curtains. The second season is gathered here in its entirety.

We want series 3!
Why hasn't the third series been released yet? This series was great and I never missed an episode when it was broadcast on TV. Please please please release series 3 onto DVD!!
Just Great !
I'm watching the second series. I'm not disappointed at all as At Home With the Braithwaites is one of my favourite series. It is really funny ! I like very much the British accent which is given to all characters. It is a change when you are used to seeing well-known American series. I like very much both.
Though, it is difficult to wait until July to buy the next one... :)
How long before Series 3 and 4 are Released. ?
It is such a shame that there has been such a delay in this excellent Comedy Series.
The Acting and script are excellent - the only minus point I have is with the DVD Production. The DVD has gaps where the advert's were shown on TV { they use a placeholder } which really is completely unnecessary.
The Aspect ratio is 16:9 Widescreen which is a improvment on Series One.
I just hope that Series 3 and 4 come out Quickly in the UK.
