TALKSPORT ROADTRIP5
I was out in Germany this summer, during the World Cup & although the result wasn't what we were looking for I, along with thousands of other fans, had a great time.

This DVD really captures the carnival atmosphere that was out there. There's some great footage of real England fans enjoying themselves, without the trouble that used to be associated with our national team. Mixed with hilarious clips from the talksport team, both out & about in Germany & in the studio broadcasting to the nation back home. Some of the funny clips you can watch over & over again. A fantastic DVD. Can't wait for Euro 2008 in Austria/Switzerland..

Talksport World Cup Road Trip5
Talksport took their presenters & teams out to Germany to report back on the 2006 World Cup. I heard this advertised on Talksport Radio & it sounded really funny. However once i put it on I realised there is far more to this than just that. It gives you a real insight to behind the scenes of a major sporting event & the sort of organising, sometimes chaotic, that goes on to bring it to the public. A lot of the Talksport presenters are on this & their enthusiasm & humour are what make it, weather you are a huge sports fan or not. There are some classic scenes featuring presenters like Porky Parry & the Moose, out on the streets of Germany entertaining the fans. Then there's some great clips of the presenters broadcasting their shows from different cities all over Germany. If you're a fan of Talksport you'll love it.However even if you've never listened to the Talksport station you'll still find this great fun & hugely entertaining. As Alan Brazil would say "It's Brilliant!!!"

A TRIP WORTH TAKING.5
Anybody who watched every game at the World Cup (me), and who listened to Talksport during it (me again,) should buy this dvd at once. It is brilliant, pure and simple. It captures the atmosphere, delight and agony of the World Cup. Talksport took their show on the road during the tournament, hoping for English glory yet sensing the inevitable failure. We get to see the likes of Mike Parry, Patrick Kinghorn and Rodney Marsh. The many thousands of fans who travelled from England feature throughout the dvd, singing, drinking, complaining about the team/manager, drinking and drinking. Did I mention drinking? You get the picture. Eng-er-land. The games involving England are conveyed via Talksport`s commentary of the goals and sending-off. The whole thing culminates in the penalty loss to Portugal, although the latter games ARE mentioned, including the little matter of Italy winning their fourth Cup. Forza Italia! The enthusiasm of people like The Moose shines through and it is impossible not to smile at some of the images here. Really enjoyable fare.
