Forbidden Knowledge (and longer life...)
This book empowers its reader with a knowledge only few possess about our relationship to our world through the choices we make about what we put in our mouths. It allows us to see the connection between what we eat; an activity we all partake of several times per day- and the enormous impact that this has on our own health, our fellow creatures, our local and global environments, our unborn generations, and indeed our economies. It is one the most important books ever written because it exposes the lies, deceit and 'newspeak' of those industries who force food choices upon us from our infancy, and empowers the reader to create a new relationship with our planet that will not only prolong our beautiful planet, but will prolong the reader's beautiful life. How many books can offer that- extra years of life! This book is a MUST READ, and once read serves as a loyal and rigid reference document.
Diet for a New America
This is one of the best books I have ever read. It is so much more than a health book, it clearly shows how our food choices affect the entire eco-system and ultimately the health of our beloved planet. At times it is moving and uplifting, at times deeply upsetting. (Some of it made me cry, anyway!) A truly inspirational and wonderful read.
for those interested in the world as a whole
I reccommend this book for people who have questions about who influences our frame of mind. Its powerful and precise with strong scentific evidence to back it up. I loved it and continue to read it over and over!
