Dreams are so important
I would not be without this book. I keep it by my bedside so when I wake I can refer to it and look up my dream symbols. Unlike other dream books that focus on general dream symbology, this book encourages the dreamer to use their dreams to solve problems faced in everyday life. It covers common types of dream e.g. chase dreams; money dreams, snake dreams etc. and the dream symbol dictionary is so accurate. I'd recommend this book without doubt anyone wishing to expand their knowledge using their own dreams.

The Best Book There is on Dream Symbolism & Analysis
I have been using this book for the past seven years and my bedside table would not be without it! Not only is there a dictionary with over 1500 dream symbols explained, but also an introduction telling you every thing you need to know about dreams, why we have them and how they tie into karma, reincarnation and the chakras as well as how to use them to make sense of our day-to-day lives.
Bethards also deconsructs common dream themes such as snake dreams, chase dreams and death dreams (to name a few). She outlines several dream plots and then analyses them step by step so as to deepen our understanding of the process of dream interpretation and to make us more familiar with the steps we need to take in understanding our own dreams. While most dream books I have come across give you very matter-of-fact explanations of dream symbols, Bethards explains how we can use these symbols to solve problems faced in our waking reality. Her approach is extremely spiritual, realising that dreams are, of course, spiritual experiences that are there to help us solve problems.
An invaluable resource to self-knowledge and self-understanding. The symbols in this book will help you understand what your dreams are trying to tell you.
