Useful
I bought this for my toddler's bedroom hoping it would help her sleep. It provides just enough glow so you don't need to put light on in night when you go to them. Light shines quite bright white to look at, but Ive put it on an opposite wall so not too bright when she looks at it. However, I wouldn't say it's bright enough to act as a security light when say you're out & wish to leave like a lamp light on. I'm glad I invested in this, it's cheap enough & I wouldn't spend any more money on a fancy light that does the same job.

Good for the price but one has failed
I bought three of these in total, two for the childrens' bedrooms and one for the stairs.

Good points:
* Just about enough light to enable you to see the stairs
* Very low power consumption (0.3 watt)
* Turn themselves off when it's light & on when it's dark

Bad points
* Variable quality, one of the lights is much brighter than the others
* One of them has failed after about 6 months

A little disappointed
I purchased a number of these night lights a little while ago and already one of them has blown a bulb and there were no spare bulbs in the box as I thought the advertisement said. I have had other night lights for years and they haven't blown a bulb so if I cannot get replacement bulbs then this is an expensive item. Admittedly I paid more for my previous ones so perhaps I ordered the wrong ones, and should have bought more expensive ones.
