Old truths packed into a story you will actually finish
The obvious target group for this book are the thousands of people who have gotten their feet wet at Multi-Level-Marketing and given up because they just cannot make a sale, or recruit a soul.
By laying bare the narrators psyche, the reader is allowed to slip into the shoes of the narrator as re recieves a crash course in positive thinking, overcoming his own prejudices about himself, thinking big, etc. etc.
This book need to be read over and over again, to squeeze every pearl of wisdom from it, not because they are hidden between the lines, but simply because there are so many of them. In fact each one that I did recognise, was from a different book by a different author.
I the week during which I was reading it, my own business made a sudden upturn, as if to confirm that this book is true.
The hardest part for me was to imagine what it would be like to be rich and successful. Because I would still do the same things, wear the same clothes (jeans & t-shirt), and eat the same food (junk food). The only difference would be what I would NOT do anymore, worry and hesitate.
By the way, John Milton Fogg is a real MLM coach.
Back in the real world
If you've been involved with MLM for more than a week, you'll have come across some of the fun and some of the frustrations involved. The author doesn't try and deny they exist, but by the use of this beautiful fable gives us all hope, direction and some smiles.
If you've not found out about MLM yet, then this may be a good place to start.
lovely story
this is a lovely story. And that's all it is. A lovely story. I spent 3 years in network marketing and spent so much money trying to build my business it made me broke. I used what was in this book. And like I say, it's a nice story. If life was really like this, I'd recommend it. As it stands, I don't.
