Power Quest Just Keep Getting Better. Another Success
I Was A Bit Dubious When I Imported This Album When It Came Out In Japan Back In May Because I Thought There Was No Way They Could Ever Top The Previous Album 'NeverWorld' But Somehow They Managed It. 'Find My Heaven' Is A Nice Opener For The Album And Sets The Tone For The Rest That Follows But Certain Tracks Really Stick Out For Me The Best Track For Me Is Track 4 'Hold On To Love' The Keyboarding And The Guitaring Really Flow Together Perfectly, The Second Track For me Is Track 6 'The Message' One Of The Best Ballads I Have Heard For Years It Even Tops Neverworlds 'When I'm Gone' Which I Thought Couldn't Be Done Other Tracks That Stick Out Above The Rest Are 'Children Of The Dream' And 'Another World'. Don't Get Me Wrong I Like All The Tracks But The Ones I Have Mentioned Really Do Stick Out. It's Almost As If Alessio's Voice Is Getting Better With Every Album, If You Liked Neverworld And Wings Of Tomorrow Then Purchase This Album Because It Takes The Best Of Both Previous Releases And Polishes Them For A Fresh New Sound.
To predictable.
After the glorious Neverworld i was really looking forward to this, unfortunatley it`s not as good as its predecessor. Ok the recording is far more slicker than Neveworld & the album has a far more polished sound to it but it`s in the predicatbility stakes that this album starts to suffer really badly, & there arn`t any really outstanding songs either. All of the really fast songs are all played the same way, espeicially by the guitars which means they all start to sound the same. They`ve all got similar chord progressions as well which doesn`t help either. The mid tempo stuff is what should be the albums strong points but therte not. No catchy riffs or hooky chorus`s it all starts to sound the same. Don`t get me wrong the playing by the guys themselves is outstanding great technique being shown by all, just nothing of any real note to show for it which is a great shame. If you want to hear these guys at there best then check out Neverworld.
