Thin Leppard5
I'll try and keep it short and sweet.

The overidding sound musically is definitely Thin Lizzy, but it's faster paced for the modern day, fuller production and the majority of choruses are less obvious.

However it's not all Lizzy and the singer voice seems not only to be a touch Lynott but also a little early days Joe Elliot (Def Leppard 'High N Dry/ On through the Night era)'

Depsite a little nervousness that it was going to be a 'heard it all before.....and before was better' album , and whilst it took two or three listens to get into, there's not a bad track on it.

Whilst they've taken a Lizzy's classic twin guitar sound they have done something different with it.

Really pleased I took the gamble and bought it. Well worth buying.

Lizzy comparisons are obvious5
... but as a previous reviewer has stated, there is a new feel and sound to these guys. Hats off to Classic Rock and Powerage records.

No poor tracks on the album and the most lively live act I've seen since I can't think when. Check out the video on YouTube; these guys know how to play, how to rock and how to take you with them on the journey.

Agreed - Best album of '08.

Album of the year!!!!!5
Guns n roses, Metallica, ACDC - All supposedly contenders for "08" album of the year. All put to the sword by Stone Gods, Airbourne and the best of the lot - Pride Tiger.

Never before have I written a review - so why now?

Because this band deserves recognition in bucket loads! Yes I'm a Lizzy fan and yes they are the spawn of Lizzy, however they rock out more than Lizzy ever did. Thank god Classic Rocks own label picked these Vancouver boys up and run with them. They are absolute class - from track one to track 15 (yes I've got the one with 2 bonus tracks). Not a bad track, not even an average one - from start to finish. Can the so called big three mentioned early claim that. Not even close.

Seen them live in Cardiff Dec 08 - what a band - go do the same.

Just buy the cd and rock out, big time. Roll on 2018 for my next review.
