Welcome Back
I am sick of people slagging off dare's last 2 albums 'belief' and 'beneath the shinning water' saying not heavy enough, too much celtic music. Will you people shut up. These albums are a shinning example of Darren Whartons superb production. Yes 'Out of the silence' was one of the best AOR albums you will ever hear and great production Mike shipley and Larry Klein. 'Blood from stone' was the heaviest Dare will ever get and personally i think they shouldn't have gone that heavy it was like a different band from the first album even though i am a big from of Keith Oslen productions. I understand why they did it. So here at last we have 'Arc of the dawn' if the critics are not pleased, just save your comments and let the rest of us enjoy. Yes this album is alot more heavier on the guitars less celtic a very fast paced album and yes my wife will hate me after a week as this album is going to be played so loud that the neighbours will complain but what the heck do i care we have waited 5 years for this and i am please to say welcome back. This englishman is very happy.
P.S... Please don't make us wait another 5 years also you can put as much celtic, keyboard, guitar and what ever else you like into your songs and i will still love them.

once again a truly crafted album from the guys.i have all the albums and thoroughly enjoy listening to them.the new album is exceptional just like the rest,but i suppose im just biased!give thease guys a try and im sure you will agree that the music they produce is of awsome quality.So sit back put it on and enjoy it : )

Just got this cd and what an excellent cd it is
i am a huge fan of dare and i am still playing their last
cd beneath the shining water, really liked their cheap trick cover the flame and of course lizzys emerald.
