Product Description

In this history of the Fleet Air Arm we learn of the successes and disappointments of the service, moments that made a dramatic impact such as Taranto and the sinking of the "Bismarck", and also the theatres of war that were a long wearisome vigil, such as the Battle of the North Atlantic.

The only single volume FAA history5
This is an intersting and informative book. It is also the only single volume history of the Fleet Air Arm that I know of.

Reading through the book you get an idea of the spirits of the Fleet Air Arm and the troublesome times it has gone through (as well as the good times).

I recommend this book to anyone with any sort of interest in the Navy/Naval aviation.
