Probably my all time favourite album. It has a special dreaminess, innocence and intimacy unmatched by any other album.

This, along with Des Plumes dans la Tête make up my two favourite Sylvain Chauveau releases. Mesmerising, beautiful, heartwrenching short songs that somehow make you smile.

It's as if this album grew out of the earth in a lush and secret place. An organic mix of strings, piano, horns etc often carried by gentle drones.

Whilst it stands alone perfectly well, it's a beautiful score that connects so well with the film you barely notice it. Moving and elegant.

Strange how I always thought this had a familiarity to it but then it also sounded like nothing I'd heard before!! Still Grails finest??

Maybe a controversial choice if you like and are familiar with Tull's earlier work but I think it's great. Complex and dark melodies with the usual Anderson whit.

My favourite Meshuggah album. Slower, heavier.

Now perhaps I'm letting myself down here but I just can't help liking MDB & have done since my early teens, so maybe that's simply why. If it's not this album its Turn Loose The Swans. Epic and gloomy

This band have a great sound - heavy, heavy pounding rock/metal laced with droney, noisey sections. Nicely done, and this has to be my favourite of theirs, though it's a tuff choice.

One of the most ferocious metal albums ever! A totally disgraceful mess of genius! The 5.1 mix of Natasha on the DVDA disc is also amazing.

Another brilliant accoustic guitar album from Preston Reed. Highly accomplished playing without it being for the sake of it. Sometimes very laid back and other times full throttle and rhythmic.

The greatest entertainer!! Almost impossible to pick a favourite, but maybe this is it. If you don't listen to Tom Waits then start, and if you do then I don't need to explain.
