Customer Reviews
Sound reference book for would be and fledgling entrepeneurs
As a prospective sole trader I found this book an excellent read and know that I will be able to refer back to relevant sections as issues arise. This is a no nonsense common sense approach to business set up and ongoing business management and control , laid out in easily referenced sections. I found much of the content was already in my thoughts but seeing it written down in a structured way reiterated the key points and certainly had me writing down plenty of ideas for future development. I couldn't believe how much you get for the price. Fantastic value. A must read for prospective and recently launched small businesses.
Continual source of information.
An excellent book which can become ones "silent partner" throughout all aspects of running a business, whether it be starting up on your own or hitting the 5 year glitch. Most business books can end up been put down after the reading the first paragraph.
The Entrepreneur's Book of Checklists is a book that half way through reading it I purchased another copy and passed it onto my parents who are self employed. My own copy is being monopolised by a friend who has been running his business for the last 3 years and he was nodding and agreeing at the first page he read.
This book is informative, light, comical, easily understood with tips that are practical and advice that's tried and tested.
Thank you Robert, this book is an excellent source of information.
Reasuring
As someone who has just started his own business I am being faced with many decisions and events that I did not anticipate. Sometimes I find myself wishing that I was still 'plugged into the matrix'. Roberts book helps me to remind myself that what is happening, happens to everyone and that I am doing the right thing. I find it very reasuring.
