Product Description

Following established procedures and identifying and acting upon areas of concern at the appropriate time is essential for efficient conveyancing. Using checklists is one reliable method a firm can employ to ensure the necessary procedures are followed and to reduce exposure to potential risk. This comprehensive book of checklists is organised to follow standard conveyancing transactions from taking instructions to post-completion. The detailed lists provide a guide to every step a practitioner typically needs to follow and a CD-ROM allows each checklist to be customised for individual firms. The useful and practical features include: a CD-ROM to enable fast and flexible access to customisable checklists; specimen standard letters that can be easily customised; tables of fees, facts and figures for everyday use.

'Excellent'. The Practical Lawyer, February 2007'Close adherence to the checklists on searches and leaseholds would go a long way towards effective management of these higher risk areas - In this risk-aware climate the use of checklists in a busy practice is always a worthwhile exercise.' Customer Reviews

A really useful set of check lists only marred by the layout of book4
This is very typical Silverman.

Totally comprehensive (well almost)and very authoritive.

It is a really good set of check lists only marred by the layout of the book. As with her Conveyancing Handbook it really works for those who work with it on a regular basis but not ideally arranged for us lesser mortals who dip into conveyancing once in a while. That said, I would not do conveyancing with out the benefit of them making sure no stone is left unturned, no form or procedure forgotten.
