Not all that
Beautiful Hand-stitched Jewellery: 35 Unique Crocheted and Hand-stiched Projects Inspired by Tokyo Style
I didn't like this book much. Apart from some embroidery most of the designs are done in raffia ew!! or old cashmere sweaters. Which is fine if you own some but there are no suggestions for an alternative, it says you can't use hand knits, no fun as I'm a knitter!. I thought the flowers on the front were knitted or crocheted too, they're not. This gets the thumbs down from me.

Fantastic book, beautiful work by the artist. Lovely photos and good explanations. I really love it
interesting if a little impractical
This book has many projects to make jewellery in knitting and crochet. however, somewhat unexpectedly, rather than these involving knitting or crcohet from scracth with wool you can buy or own, a lot of them involving reusing existing knitted items. I'm all for a bit of recycling but I'm afraid i just don't own enough old cahsmere jumpers (thta's what it says to use) to make some of the projects.
but if you do own a lot of old fine quality knits then this may well be the book for you...in the meantime I'm still collceting them second hand so have not yet had the chance to make anything.
that said, there are som erally nice looking things in this book.
