My constant friend
Having been a 'sloucher' all my life and suffering from neck and lower back problems I thought I'd give this a go. I'm happy to report it does its job brilliantly. I spent 18 hours on a coach trip (which normally causes me agony) and arrived at my destination painfree. I was overjoyed. In fact, slouching now causes me pain and I make it a habit to sit with correct posture at all times. It's been a revelation.

At the same time, I also invested in 'Treat Your Own Neck' by Robin A. McKenzie which has saved me so much money at the chiropractors. I really can't recommend both items highly enough.

The Superb D Roll
I have suffered on an off with a bad back since a rugby accident 20 years ago.

Just recently I manage dot slip 5 discs in my back causing me very acute sciatica and numbness in both legs and feet which was not great.

I was in hospital and had a course of physiotherapy and am on the road to a good recovery.

I am involved in Sales for my job which involves a lot of sitting at desks and long car journey which the consultant does not recommend at all.

My Physio recommend the D roll to me as a support aid and I was a bit more than sceptical as I am 6'5" tall and weight approx 18stone therefore did not believe a small little foam filled Pillow could do me much good.

How wrong was I .......?

This device fits right into the small of your back and helps form the correct lumber shape making your shoulders also pull backwards into a very comfortable position.

I travel on a regular basis from Hastings to Newcastle and before getting this pillow at the end of a journey would be extremely stiff and uncomfortable.
With this great device I can virtually jump out of the car!

My only negative point on this product (and it is a very small negative) is that the Strap is not that effective in holding the pillow in place as it doesn't fit well in cars that have raised lumber sides (like sports seats) therefore I never use the strap and can adjust the position to where I need it

If you sit for a long time or suffer from a bad back I would recommend this product to you 100% (please seek medical advice if required!)

For £14 you can't go wrong

Good but could do better.
I bought one of these as I do a lot of miles in my car which doesn't have an adjusabe lumbar support in the seat. I wanted something which would help stop the twinges in my lower back after a long journey. The roll does seem to work, but it is quite large and, until you get used to it, it does feel as though your pelvis is being thrust forward. My only real gripe is with the fastening belt - the buckle is one of those that the belt goes through in an s-shape and however much I fiddled round with it the belt just slipped back out, so it is esentially useless. That said it pretty much stays in place anyway being wedged between your back and the seat.
