Great book on a craft that is just that little bit different
Great little book that teaches how to carve a walking stick from things you can find when you are walking the countryside whether it just be wood or if you are lucky to come across any horn or antler. Roy Griffin shows you exactly what to do and also how to rectify things when they go just that little bit wrong. I was amazed at what lovely creative walking sticks could be made, so if you do need a stick or whether you just use one for hiking in the countryside you don't have to have the normal boring brown wooden sticks. From dogs to birds and even fish carved to use as the handle, so whatever interest there would be something for everyone. A good book with easy to understand step by step instructions. A nice gift for someone.
