Product Description

The mysterious Stig, "Top Gear"'s resident racing driver and one of the most popular members of the "TG" team, has finally got a book of his own. But you'll have to work hard to find him, as he's been cleverly concealed in a series of brilliantly drawn scenes. You might spot him getting down with the kids at a rock festival; or overseeing his workforce in his secret underground lair. He could be one of the spectators lining the route of Bonneville Salt Flats Speed Week; or soaking up the sun on the Costa del Stig. Filled with visual jokes and references to the TV series, and with extra credits for spotting his colleagues at "Top Gear" and a few other hidden gems, "Where's Stig?" will give "Top Gear" fans hours of fun.

About the Author
Some say that on really warm days, he sheds his skin like a snake, and that for some reason, he's allergic to the Dutch... all we know is, he's called The Stig.

want to waste a few hours of your life ?4
This is a funny non PC book with bits and inside jokes from top gear.

The Stig is not easy to stop but the dead animals and other features of the series are.

Perhaps is best to keep it away from childen under 30.

not appropriate for younger readers2
After considering this as a christmas present for my 8 year old godson, I was relieved i'd had the chance to flick through it in a book shop befroe buying. Although at first glance it looks like a harmless version of 'where's wally', on closer inspection I spotted some parts of the pictures which may not be suitable for little ones - on a beach-themed page I spotted several nude sunbathers ( with bits covered by a cleverly placed hand ), and on another page, several pools of blood where seals had been killed. It didn't look like a kids book to me.

I think it's better for older ones, or men for a funny christams pressie, but few of that age would have the patience to sit and spot stig. I think it may be amusing for 5 or 10 minutes.

The Stig is no Wally3
Yes, it's an obvious cash in but it should keep middle aged Top Gear enthusiasts busy for a few minutes on Boxing Day. The pictures aren't as entertaining as the Where's Wally books and this may not be suitable for kiddies either.

If you can pick it up as a cheap stocking filler it's probably worth it, but otherwise the value for money is questionable.
