Realisitic recipes for entertaining with a seasonal theme5
Having tried some of the recipes and found them to be extremely well received by my guests I must thoroughly recommend this book. Some concepts are quite simple but the combinations of flavours and ingredients effective. The only problem is waiting for the next season to begin to cook in sequence although I have cheated and modified some summer recipes to a more wintery theme. Nonetheless I do agree the idea of cooking and eating in season is right and this book steps you through. There are helpful personal hints and insights and also advice on when parts of menus can be prepared ahead.
When I rave about her recipes people say 'Who?' and I reply 'Scotland's answer to Delia'
