What can I say about this book! From the moment I picked it up I knew it was something very special, it had me laughing, crying and frozen in terror as the love of one young girl for her husband leads you on a journey across the Scotland, England and Ireland. Megan meets some of the most wonderful people such as Mother Foy and some of the very worst of society, those that are not quite human as put the fear in everyone. This is the best novel I have ever read and I would recomend it to everyone, its a love story and a thriller all in one but to say more would be to give things away and if you want to know then you'll need to buy the book - you won't be disappointed. I can't wait for the next!!!!
A MUST READ
ANOTHER GREAT READ FROM JESS SMITH. YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN & ALL HER BOOKS ARE THE SAME. I WILL BE PURCHASING THEM AS GIFTS, FOR FRIENDS & FAMILY. A MUST MUST READ. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT BOOK IS OUT.
fascinating
i picked this one up in the library cos i sounded good but have changed my mind many times about whether i would enjoy it. i would say it is a fascinting story and whether the story is based on real life or not it still tells a story about a way of life long forgotten. i did find the pace very slow with nothing profound happening until the very end and the chapters are quite long but i say stick with it as it is a very well written story which is fascinating and very different from anything i have read.
