Customer Reviews
One of the best Live albums ever
This album is a must for all Runrig fans. It contains something for everyone and every mood, from the pure rock of 'Protect and Survive' to the gentle and brilliant 'Going Home', and anyone who was taught 'Loch Lomond' as a child will be blown away by Runrig's interpretation of it.
Then, as if the songs alone are not enough, this has to be one of the best live albums of all time (along with Fairport Convention's 'In Real Time'). Thoroughly recommended.
A fantastic, uplifting live album to grace your collection
I have been hooke on Runrig for a few years now, after hearing a friend's copy of this album. The songs are sung with such power and meaning that they uplift me whatever mood I am in.
"Dance Called America" and Runrig's arrangement of "Loch Lomond" are undoubtedly some of my favourite pieces of all time, and as has previously been said, if you want an introduction to this great band, buy this album; you won't regret it.
Look out for the "Searchlight" and "In Search of Angels" albums for more of what makes me tick! I hope it does the same for you.
A classic album from a legendary band
Never heard Runrig before? - this is the album for you! Hear them the way God intended - live. A stirring album, guaranteed to uplift you and get the blood rushing! A really motivating and dramatic album with live classics Dance Called America, Skye, and their finest version of Loch Lomond.
The haunting and dominating voice of Donnie Munro set against the stirring drums, swirling guitars, as well as the excitement of a Glasgow Barrowlands audience will set your hearting beating.
A definate album for the Runrig beginner and guaranteed to have you coming back for more!
