Watched the Show Live. It was AWESOME, & so FUNNY5
I watched this show Live in Nottingham and Sheffield (although this was filmed at the London show) With a few brilliant differences here and there (Eddie murders flies will be the Sheffield Headline LOL) the core material was the same. And it was truly awesome. I haven't laughed so hard since he released his Sexie DVD, and this show was even better, miles better. Eddie proves once again that he is a true king of comedy. He covered the 4.5billion year history of the world, in such a way that history became exciting and funny. Its hard to pick out any one thing from his show, from Cows in cars, to the none existant Giraffe alarm call. Its all surreal comedy at a level that surpasses genius.

Get this DVD you'll watch it over and over and over and just end up laughing even harder every time. If you only buy one comedy DVD in your life, make sure its this one. Eddie Izzard is truly totally amazing

Simply wonderful5
I saw this show twice last year, including the time when they actually filmed it, so I know exactly what is on this DVD (I might even be ON the DVD!)

The show is hilarious from start to finish. He offers original ideas and spot-on delivery. He doesn't take it too seriously and has fun, which gives the comedy a relaxed feel, rather than the sort of thing that screams "you're supposed to laugh now".

The whole show is full of surreal and belly-aching moments, but even during the times when I wasn't laughing out loud, I had a big grin on my face.

The fact that this show was good enough to make me go twice says something, but it was so good that I will be going to see it again when Eddie brings the show to the O2 in London this year.

I can't wait to get this on DVD - both because I want a momento of the wonderful night that I had last year, but also because I think every Eddie fan (or any fan of good stand-up comedy, for that matter) should own this.

Fresh from the Gig in Liverpool5
Just seen Eddie's show live last night and I have never felt my cheeks ache so much from laughing. From the short and subtle gags to the lengthy mimes with giant spears as well as the recurring themes of various animals, Eddie tries to make sense out of the chaos of this world and presents it in a very sensible, yet chaotic, manner. Fans of Eddie's work certainly won't be disappointed in this, his first live gig for 6 years. It a return to form for him and it's almost like he was never away. I'm intrigued to see the DVD recording now just to try and spot the subtle differences between that and the Liverpool gig which offered small references to it being Halloween, practicing the gig whilst performing it and the recurring gag around voles thanks to one whistling member of the audience!

For any fan of Izzard's work, or just fans of comedy in general, I can see this filling stockings all over the country this winter to celebrate the birth of Beesus... Deesus... Teesus... oh, Jesus!
