The Rough Guide to Sicily is a perfect book to take on your trip.5
I am going to Sicily early in 2010 and wanted to have as much information as I could find before I set off.
This guide is perfect for getting to know Sicily. Useful tips on attempting to speak Italian. Detailed history of places to visit and useful easy to follow maps.
Suggested eating places are listed in each region. Wonderful photographs of the many historic sites including their history are extremely interesting even for those who are armchair travellers. There is so much more in this fascinating book it would be a great mistake to visit without it.
