Fictitious account of Arbuckle's life. A very well told, entertaining tale.

A man who feels he had a lot to proove. The London period is really beautifully described. A fascinating read, mostly.

Merton's book is a brilliant testament to the work of the silent greats, easy to read and extremely well informed. Bloomin' magic. Oh and it has lots of lovely big photos.

My other favourite Chaplin, and where my interest in silent comedy started. I'm still trying to figure out the foot work in the spaghetti song scene. Brilliant.

Almost complete Chaplin long film collection. If it's too expensive you can get it in two halves as vol 1 & 2. See also Countess from Hong Kong - but it's a bit rubbish.

Keaton's best known long putting, with some fantastic extras including the Railroader and Buster Keaton Rides Again. Well worth it for the extras alone!
