Well worth it!
Sims Castaway Stories is a brilliant game to play! The game itself is a standalone i.e. not an expansion pack of any other The Sims game. It is especially good if you are playing on a laptop.
Before going into "Free Play Mode" you have to go through "Story Mode" which is the guided part of the game. This is great because it enables you to unlock tools which you will need when you go into Free Play Mode.
Overall very entertaining and quite addictive - I think so anyway :)
Amazing!!!
This game is amazing. You can create your own family, build houses and playa game where you are shipwrecked on an island.
I bought this for my children and they fell in love with it!
Good Story
I enjoyed the story part of the game, but when you get past that and go into free mode, you are not able to put down lots so unless you put the other survivors in with another family you can't play them.
I downloaded the game, that has the problem that unless you are on-line you cant play it, as I live in a rural part of France where my signal is very erratic I find there are days when it is impossible to play.
There are lots of bugs with the game too, one of the game people got stuck on a hill side and died. Also if you use items not on your lot like the chess board you don't get any benefit like improved logic.
But otherwise a good game it kept me interested.
