Synopsis
Linda La Plante's gritty crime drama TRIAL AND RETRIBUTION follows Detective Chief Superintendent Mike Walker (David Hayman) and DCI Roison Connor (Victoria Smurfit) in their continuing fight for justice. Each episode starts out with a crime being committed, its discovery, the ensuing investigation and arrests, and culminates in a final dramatic courtroom showdown. Lynda La Plant - Trial and Retribution - The sixth Collection
The whole collection has been very good. Living abroad and having missed the initial series it was good to be able to purchase and view the whole collection.
One or two episodes have not been as entertaining as they could be but that has not been a problem. The biggest problem is trying to stop oneself watching the whole collection in one go. David Hayman plays a very dubious detective and Victoria Smurfit always seems to be able to put him down but he is still there doing things the old unorthodox way. Love it.
