Another Cracker George
Available for the first time on DVD, this cracking film which was only his second "proper" film started him on his road to fame. This DVD contains six of his songs of which two are especially precious as they were never recorded on audio so can only be found on this DVD release, the two songs in question were "I Promised To Be Home By 9 O'clock" and "I'm Going To Stick To My Mother".

Also starring his real life wife Beryl, it was filmed in 1935 and directed by Arthur Mertz. If you like George Formby then you will like this, not his best film but certainly one that will keep George Formby fans warm all over, or indeed anyone who like wet Saturday afternoon flicks.
