After Henry Always a Good Laugh5
After Henry - Series 3 - Complete [DVD] [1989]

A wonderfully witty, touching, and dare I say brilliantly bitchy comedy which has not aged in the least.

The put-upon Sarah, the highly-strung Claire, the wonderfully compassionate Russell, and the indominatable Eleanor & her Geriatric Mafia (as Sarah calls them) ... "Valerie Brown, on the pension counter's sister, Mary" always garners a guffaw and you know the rest will be just as funny!

Having heard the original BBC Radio series several times of late on BBC Radio 7, and watched the Thames Television series even more often in the early 90s in Canada, these releases have brought back wonderful memories.

And, for those who have lately discovered this treasured series, sit back and prepare yourself for well-exercised funny bones.

After Henry 35
I now have all the After Henry DVD's (and I have a pre order for set 4) They are just as I remember them and can only advise if you ever watched the show and anjoyed it to buy this set and the 2 previous ones they are just great. Like some of my past reviews the old shows are the best and you can not compare them to the so called comedy that is on the box today

Thoroughly enjoyable, superb acting spoken at a speed one can register and understand ( most American stuff is too fast!)

wonderful characterisations - what are they doing now?
