How big is it?
The dimensions of the 'full-sized' water bottle are approx. 35 x 20 cms.

Better the picture or the real thing?
Husband present. This hot water bottle has a thin plastic and smooth rubber which does not keep warm as long as my one which is rigged and thicker plastic.

The cover, though it has a nice writing/sawing for the 'grumpy old man' (but a sawing machine can easily do this) is very basic, thin and not very clever, around the neck it has an elastic instead of a string, so no other uses for it and makes very difficult to take out the bottle to check for cracks (in future).

It is not much a good value for money (£9.99 at present), still it can be a nice 'joke' for a present but not worth for the last minute as adding fast delivery p&p makes it no at all good value for money.
