Invaluable!
This book is wonderfully free of jargon, making it easy and interesting for the average horseowner to follow. It is a great reference book, which although cannot replace your vet, can give you a great insight into what might be wrong (or right) with your horse, what to look out for, and what to do in an emergency. Really interesting, well indexed, and easy to get around. I couldn't do without it.

It has clear concise details and easy to understand diagrams - a gold mine of information you'll be referring to more than you think.

Wouldn't be without it
This is a must have for any horse owners that want to understand and help the animals they love. I first came across the book on my way to The British Racing School; every ailment and illness that I had never heard of I looked up in this book as it came up.
