All you need to know for Stage 1
I found this book really useful and it helped to give structure to my revision for the stage 1 exam. It has comprehensive sections on all of the syllabus topics but is slim enough to read through in a couple of sittings. Consequently, in the run-up to the exam l was able to review the whole syllabus two or three times, which really helped boost my confidence. One word of warning is that the table on feed ratios seems to be a little behind current thinking - every instructor l spoke to seemed to say the same, so it is worth checking with your tutor/instructor on that section.
A good buy, though, and absolutely invaluable. I also had the DVD, which really helped in showing what the exam day might be like.
