Perfection
A fitting tribute to the best TV programme of all-time. No actor will give a performance to equal Sir George Cole as loveable rogue Arthur Daley.
Every othet character from Terry the Minder, Dave the barman to cop clowns Chisholm AND Rycott feature throughout.
This is TV Perfection.

ONE OF THE BEST COMEDY DRAMAS OF A DECADE.
Minder has to be an all time classic which was perfectly cast with the brilliant George Cole as dodgy but well meaning Arthur Daley. With Ex-boxer and offender Terry Macann played by Dennis Waterman and Glynn Edwards as Dave of the Winchester Club. Not forgetting bumbling cops Chisholm and Rycott who are foreverer trying to catch Arthur and out-do each other. This series ran for ten seasons from 1979 to 1994 with Ray Daley played by Gary Webster replacing Terry in the final two series. This was a classic mix of sharp scripts and comedy drama that set the pace for the 80's. George Cole was almost born for the part and became and still is an icon of the 80's. For me this show can go on and on and the format never becomes tired and is always a laugh. On this great value set we get four specials and one interview with George Cole though I still haven't found the disc that's on yet ?. All in all a great addition to any collection and also good value, get it before it's deleted as was the last issue after a short time !.

Minder boxset review
Minder is the archetypical show that brought pleasure to so many all those years ago. George Cole was perfection as the lovable rogue Arthur with excellent support from Waterman, the policemen and of course behind the bar, Dave. The show still makes me laugh even after all this time. Even though the series lost a bit of it's lustre due to cutting down on the fights and sex it still kept going strong. Gary Webster more than held his own, though it has to be admitted that the scripts weren't in the same class as the Waterman years. Great value on this box set I promise. Almost as if Arthur had sold it himself! So let's all raise a large VAT to 1 of the best series ever created.
