Medicinal DVD: Improves Health through Strenuous Laughter
Virtually perfect, laugh out loud comedy...so where's 'Complete Series 1 and 2' on DVD then?

The impersonations of big Hollywood stars (and a few UK ones)will slay you. They're living out of each other's pockets; being petty, down to earth, gossipy in middle class suburb "Surbiton".

It will brutally crack you up. The small cast impressively bring us "Al"(Pacino), "Joe"(Pesci), "David"(Bowie), "Roger"(Moore), "Jack"(Nicolson), "Anthony" (Hopkins), "Michael"(Caine), & "Sir Alec"(Guinness) while (Rolling Stones) "Mick & Keith" run the local shop.(The scatty, incomprehensible "Bowie" takes over the shop temporarily while "Mick & Keith" are away on tour).

This DVD has everything: the complete 3rd series, it's not just a "best of"!

For extras there's "The Man who Drove Sheep to Bruges" (condensed version of this series). Pure genius: it's all the sketches related to the plot line of ailing neighborhood cleaner Mrs Huggett going on (probably her last) holiday with most of the cast; and there finding her long lost AWOL Husband. (This features a classic impersonation of "Sting" jamming with "Van Morrison" in the pub/hotel that the Stella Street crowd stay in.)

Like Series 1 & 2, Series 3 is far superior and funnier than the disappointing "Stella Street"(The Movie)...but when will the 'Complete Series One' and 'Complete Series Two' be out on DVD? Soon I hope, because I can't wait!

And the celebrities all live in the surburban town of Stella Street, each show is 10 minutes long and on this DVD is the entire third series over 2 hours. Celebrities Phil and John play include Michael Caine, Patrick Moore, The Beatles, Alan Rickman and lots more. Out now on video and DVD from Amazon.co.uk an ideal comedy present for all stella street and impressionist fans out there. 4/5

Simply hillarious
Stella Street is simply a marvel of British satirical comedy with all the characters played marvellously by Phill Cornwell and john Sessions all the characters living on the fictious suburb of Stella Street all the characters eccentric middle aged men. Mrs Huggins being the exceptionally normal old lady.
While Mick and Keith from the Stones run the local corner shop. Mick being slight effiment. Michael Caine plays a significant role in the street. Other characters such as Jimmy Hill and Al Pacino add spice to this wickedly send up of suburban middle class Britain and its eccentric entertainment personalities.
