mind blowing and worth at least a billion stars
I can't say much about this book - except BUY IT NOW. Michelle Tea is a genius, she needs her own religion. I love everything about it, the sadness, the wildness. Rose is painful and Trisha is one of the most honest, brilliantly drawn modern heroines of literature. What makes the story even more amazing is that most of it takes place over one day. For those who want more detail, this is the story of a 14-year-old girl named Trisha and her awakening to all things dark, sordid and wonderful, mostly through the strange, brave and physically stunted Rose.
I, as most people who will read this book will probably find, am enchanted, I've found a novel which I know will stay with me forever - it's going straight on my favourites shelf! I'd love a sequel, possibly, then again I will adore anything Michelle Tea writes. But none so much as "Rose of No Man's Land". BUY NOW BUY NOW BUY NOW and be blessed.
