Product Description

If that goal in Paris had been allowed then everything that followed could have been different. For young Stephen Bottomley something died that night. This novel follows the fortunes of this Leeds United fan as he comes of age in the dark days of the early 1980s with no prospects and no guidance.

Editorial Reviews

From the Author
Partly autobiographical, partly fictional, totally realistic (well, that's for the reader to say but it is the writer's aim).

About the Author
J R Endeacott - known as Robert or Bob or even 'that bloke with the funny surname'- is Leeds born and bred and has supported Leeds United since being dragged to the Elland Road stadium as a disgruntled four year old (the sulking didn't last). Similar to the protagonist in the book, Robert Endeacott likes drinking, socializing, football, onion bhajis and most music; doesn't like Margaret Thatcher, fighting and Man United but really has nothing against Southerners.
