Invaluable
I cannot recommend this book enough, I don't think I will ever grow out of it, as the mix of diverse vocab and essential essay phrases is perfect. I first came across this book in school when studying for my french AS/A2 Level and couldn't go to university without my own copy! I can equally recommend the german version Wort fuer Wort, I'm just waiting for an Italian version now!

Great for A-level students
A great book to give you some topic specific vocabulary for A-level French. You do have to have quite a good working knowledge of French, so perhaps a little advanced for GCSE level. Won't disappoint!!
