He set up Holiday Which? and the consumer policy and research side of the National Consumer Council. He has edited The Good Pub Guide since its first edition in 1983. Invaluable travelling companion!
This guide is an invaluable travelling companion. Without it, lets face it, finding a good pub is pot luck and often a waste of money. You can waste the price of this excellent guide on one bad meal! Get the Guide now!

Title says it all!
I've used the previous edition of this guide as I'm not a massive beer drinker so prefer to have a pub recommendation based on all a pub has to offer rather than just the ale!

Guide is well thought out and easy to use. Really can't fault it.

All my favourites are listed and I'm looking forward to taking the 2010 edition out on trips over the coming year.

Good Pub Guide unbeatable!
This guide really is fantastic. In the past we used a certain guide sponsored by a motoring organisation. It was worse than useless, and the pubs had obviously paid to enter it. This is however totally independent and indispensible (more for food than beer in the main) and we actually plan our holidays/breaks around it! (along with cycle paths!) It is simply the best.
