Incomprehensible Conquest Book 2?
I was tempted into buying this graphic novel (although the term `novel' is doing an injustice to a noble literary form) by the art and my enjoyment of the original Annihilation series. I ended up being utterly demoralised by the convenient plot twists and complete lack of coherent characterisation or logic. Quite apart from what the writers managed to perpetrate, the story is further undermined by the omission of a sizable chunk from the series. It's only a comic book, but it's not unreasonable to expect something better than this for over £20.
