Charlie Chalk - complete and remembered!
As someone who turned 20 a few days before writing this review, I'm one of the ones who can remember Charlie Chalk when it was originally shown on television all those years ago! Funny storylines, intelligent jokes and hilarious characters made this one of the most memoriable moments of my childhood. You can imagine how pleased I was to find it on DVD - all complete and all exactly as good as it was when I was four or five!

Had to knock one star off though - although each episode has probably got better with age, they do not appear to have been remastered. Enjoyment is not marred, but the ageing of the film that was used originally is just about noticable. Then again I say that as someone who likes sharp, clear pictures. Despite this, I still reccommend it - if only for reminiscing!

Charlie Chalk we love you
Charlie Chalk is in tucked away as a treat for a (very rarely) poorly 13 year old who loved him when she was small. I would recommend this dvd to any grandparent or parent of small children as they will enjoy the quirky world and jolly characters of the stories, the children will love him too!
Charlie Chalk won't get on your nerves like so much children's television so I give him 5 stars.

For a funny way of walking and a wacky way of talking its got to be Charlie Chalk
This review is going to be short and sweet because with the amount of inventivness and creativity in the show it is impossible to choose the some of the best reasons to buy it. To Summarise the show i would say that it is a darkly humoured Postman Pat for people of all ages.
