Guide a little out of date2
We used this guide for a weekend trip to Birmingham and found it adequate, but not great. Some of the places reviewed are out fo date (the restaurant we chose had moved) and some of the places reviewed are very obvious - it would be nice to have a few more quirky places. having said that, there isn't a great deal of choice if you want a guide to Birmingham and the book is very neat and small to carry around. I think you need to combine it with your own research, though.
