A Tilers Best Friend!5
The wife wanted a new splashback in the kitchen with some mosaic effect tiles, I thought I'd shut her up for calling me lazy and useless by tackling the job myself, This book from the Stanley series was all I needed to guide me through what turned out to be a fairly simple task.
It tells you the equipment you need, how to use spacers, planning the tile layout so it all looks symetrical, tips on how to get an even coverage of tile cement, it's all in here.
I think I may have to tackle the bathroom next summer, so the section on cutting tiles to fit around pipes and other awkward fixings will come in very handy.

As for the wife, she was impressed, and even stopped moaning, that was until she decided that she wants decking in the garden! Anyone got the number for Tommy Walsh ;-)

OK in the USA3
The book is ok, but is an American book, as a result all sizes are in imperial measurements and the terms and materials have different names. I may have missed it but the book doesn't cover the use of tile trims either.
Its nicely set out with clear instructions and is a good book, but the synopsis should mention that ideally its for the North American market.
