A masterpiece.
It's not surprising that Frederich Forsyth's books are getting five-star ratings. After all, "The Day of the Jackal" (both book and movie) are among the very best of their kind. The title story in "No Comebacks" has that perfect ironic twist that keeps readers coming back. These are stories you can read again and again and still get goose bumps on your arms.

Good Holiday Read
Being a fan of the great Roald Dahl, I love stories with twists in the tail. I bought this book to take with me on holiday and really enjoyed Forsyth's stories immensely.

The only criticism is that for the majority of them I could `see' how the twist would develop while only half way through them. Not quite as unexpected as Dahl's stories, but a good book all the same.

short stories are very good with a twist at the end .
Each story is different, they are true stories with a twist at the end of each one.They fire up your imagination, well writtern,and you can picture each story.
