Synopsis
Colin Wallace claims he was discharged from the British army for his refusal to take part in a dirty tricks campaign orchestrated by MI5 in Northern Ireland. He was later jailed for the murder of a friend, but has maintained his innocence. The question is how far was MI5 involved?

How Did It End?4
Nearly 14 years after the edition of the book I read was published I am wondering what the end of the story is? Colin Wallace was framed for the manslaughter of Johnathon Lewis and all because he didn't want to be a part of MI5's dirty tricks, that much I would agree on. Of course the book could be written to make the reader come to no other conclusion but weighing everything up, that is my take. The book goes into a lot of detail, perhaps not as good a read as some other expose type books but this is part record and part read. I would like to have learnt more about the man Colin Wallace rather than the focus on the facts etc, but I guess that is what makes the book so credible and apparently balanced a record of the events. I bought it for less than a dollar in the Philippines, I would say it is worth whatever price Amazon are charging, but try and get as late an edition as you can!

Who is really in charge of the state?5
A fascinating story of just what really went on in Northern Ireland in the 70's and a remarkable insight into just who runs Britain and who is above the law. Make sure you read this one twice to really appreciate just what type of "democracy" we really have in this country. At least in Russia they know there are no good guys and to keep their mouth shut. It is just disquieting to realise how much of a charade our precious "freedoms" are in reality.
It is a good job they did not bring back capital punishment, just how many innocent people would have been hanged since the 70's? A good many when you look at all the miscarriages of justice that have surfaced of late.
