Wusthof make the best!
I've been aware for a while that Wusthof have a reputation for making some of the best precision forged knives in the world, so it was with some expectation that I bought this knife! I'm not dissapointed!

Not only does this knife look good but the gently curved ergonomic handle makes it a joy to hold and allows a very firm grip...so no chance of slipping here! It also has a full tang (the blade metal stretches to at least 60% of the length of the handle)which gives it perfect balance.

The 23cm serrated blade is noticably strong and very, very sharp - so I've had no problem at all slicing through a large variety of bread including some very thick crusty loaves. It's also great for cakes and many other things too!

I've not had this knife that long, but so far it's retained it's sharpness pretty well and I've no other issues with it at all. It may be one of the more expensive knives available but it's worth every penny and Amazon prices are the cheapest I've found anywhere so far!
