Brings down the Omen name2
They should have stopped making them after the third in the series. Apart from one or two vaguely frightening scenes, there is absolutely no atmosphere in this film: the direction and pacing are more suited to a light-hearted family drama than to a horror.

Some of the music is taken from the brilliant Goldsmith score of the original Omen, but most of the new arrangements are badly put together and along with the hammy acting create an almost comedic effect.

Don't spoil your memory of the artistry of the preceding films.

Disappointing3
Amazingly, this fourth Omen film actually isn't the worst in the Omen pentology, as anyone with an ounce of taste who has seen 'The Final Conflict' will testify.

Certainly this film is a grave disappointment, but having been made for TV, and being allocated a very small budget, what else could be expected?

The plot revolves around Damien Thorn's mysterious offspring, Delia, played by Asia Viera, who is basically a chip off the old block. Various people die at her will, and one of her parents unravels the terrible truth.

So basically the first Omen film, except with a little girl in the starring role, as opposed to a little boy.

The plot is dubious to say the least, and the acting is always deeply underwhelming, but the child herself actually acts the part of Delia fairly decently. Still, I doubt being in a film as cheap-looking and unoriginal as this will have done her acting career any favours.

The worst Omen film1
I have just watched this and was not impressed, the storyline was very weak, and It's far scarier watching American Idol than this.
Take my advice...don't bother with this film.
Stick to Omen 1 to 3 they were good films.
