Good quality at a good price
I bought these for £50 from a well known UK-based chain of catalogue stores having seen JCB drills do well in various comparison tests and am very impressed. The cordless drill is powerful and nice to use (well balanced, and good features like a spirit level on top, motor brake, full-sized 13mm chuck plus a good quality trigger which can give excellent speed control right down to low speeds). It also comes with a spare battery and a fast 1 hour charger. Note that the batteries are Ni-Cad so to prolong their life you should always fully discharge them before fully charging them.
The corded drill was an added bonus - I was only really after a cordless - but it is a hefty piece of kit that is fine for masonry drilling etc.
