Average customer review:Product Description
Dos Logos, the follow-up to worldwide bestseller Los Logos, is an update on the current state of logo design. It not only presents extensive examples from around the globe, but also charts new developments in this field. In order to offer even more value to conscientious designers, the book classifies the included work according to the industry or purpose for which it was designed and contains more unusual applications including those used on building facades, on clothing and as illuminated advertising.

ultimate logo book
i am an a-level student, and as soon as i opened this book i could tell it would be one of the best resources i would find for logo research! With over 3000 logos to look at and gain inspiration from, my logo ideas will never be boring again. Apart from the excellence of the content of the book, the durable cover and bold colouring will be a great addition to my bookshelf!
student
im a student at secondry school and i bought this book because i got its Predecessor from the library los logos and it was awesome its great for typography and deqign it is well worth evry penny and hope i will use it for many years buy it !!
Inspirational logos but a lack of information
I had heard alot about this book before i purchased it, someone described it to me as being "a bible for logos". Yes its absolutely packed with great logos which are divided into 10 categories -
Corporate
Culture
Design
Fashion
In Motion and Games
Media
Music
Political and Social
Sports
Art and Unclassifiable
Browsing through the glossy pages of this book you feel inspired by what you see before you. On each of the books 400 or so pages it shows a number of logos which indeed are brilliant. However the main flaw which 'Dos Logos' has is that it gives no information whatsoever about the logo apart from who it was created by. Some logos are quite subliminal and its hard to figure out what they are representing, hence you are only left to admire the logos appearance.
A better approach would have been to show the process of the logo, the brainstorm, rough sketches, development, old designs, etc. I'm glad i bought this book but i feel that a simple paragraph maybe explaining the logo would have gone far in making this book great and not just good.
